2019 I started my journey into the French Culinary Gastronomic Pâtisserie world with Gastronomicom cooking school in France.
It was the best decision because it changed my life completely. I fell in love with French cuisine, culture, the language.
Gastronomicom’s French language classes and cours de pâtisserie (Pastry classes) are extremely professional and the best-taught by their excellent Professor Stéphane and Chef Pol.
Plus the internship given to me at a Gastronomic Michelin restaurant at Hôtel Chais Monnet & spa in beautiful town Cognac which helped enhance my experience and l learnt a lot.
All the techniques and methods taught here at school are well planned and located in a beautiful place in the South of France.
Ever since then I was determined to continue working here in France in the French pastry world. Even though the pandemic caused an unfortunate setback and an unexpected delay it did not deter me. I did not give up my passion and dream.
Gastronomicom team welcomed me again 2021 to advance my skills in Pastry and the French language which is a very important part. I was also fortunate enough to intern at the number 1 ranked Boulangerie pâtisserie Maison Bonnaire in Montpellier for 6 months thanks to Gastronomicom.
Finally with a lot of patience and hard work and determination, I found a great job opportunity at Domaine de Verchant Hôtel & Spa – Marcella Gastronomic restaurant as a Sous chef Pâtissier, in the South of France.
It’s overwhelming and challenging but I enjoy every second as it’s what I am passionate about.

It is not an easy journey moving away from home India (New Delhi) and now another new home France. So, friends don’t ever give up on your dreams and passion – it’s not a “cake walk” but with hard work and dedication and support from loved ones, the wonderful friends along the journey and Gastronomicom family you can surely find your path!
